Mike’s wife, Donna, acts as the other half of Michael’s Quality Homes. She handles color-coordination questions and light fixture selection, and manages the many small details. She feels the difference between her husband and other builders is the fact that he physically knows how to do the work himself, and doesn’t need to hire a foreman.

Michael’s crew has been working together for many years, so they get along well, and are friends as well as co-workers. “My crew is dependable and well-trained, and they keep the job site clean,” Mike says. He adds, “We have our own painting, trim and deck crews to keep the quality consistent, plus we don’t use a different subcontractor on every job. That’s part of the quality we offer from start to finish.”
